Salary Components:
Define the salary component and clause.
Category: Select and Assign the Pay component to Listed category.
Enabled for Employee & Employer Contribution: This option should be checked
incase of employer contribution is also considered upon salary calculation.
Define Parameters and rules for calculation: This option is for which enable the
salary calculation based on the certain clause. (example: if basic rate is calculated
based on hourly so you must check this option and in Salary formula you define
Salary amount per hour Option.)
Linked to: this option enables you when you selected Calculation based on Salary
Clause, here in list you have options such as OT Hours,Advances, TA Bill etc.
